Now, today, that mission is more important than ever, and we are so grateful you are a part of it. Serving the rapidly growing Church of the American West, the Most Reverend Gregory W. Gordon, STL, brings a powerful perspective on the unique challenges and opportunities of building a shared sense of faith, mission, and belonging across vast and diverse communities. Bishop Gordon is the first Auxiliary Bishop of Las Vegas and has served the Church for nearly four decades, including seven years at the Apostolic Nunciature in Washington, D.C., the Holy See's diplomatic mission to the United States. Today, he serves as Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia for the Archdiocese of Las Vegas.
